dear baby adam,
you transition to your new classroom next week! i can't believe it. today, we went in to meet the teachers, scope out the room, and see the other children. they looked SO BIG. honestly, they looked like kindergartners to me! i cannot believe that in a few months you'll look that big. i have to get you new, sturdy shoes this weekend-- your teacher told me that your new class goes to the playground twice per day. also, i didn't see any cribs in this room... this is going to be a BIG adjustment, i can tell already!
you are becoming a pro dancer, i hope it doesn't pass fast. anytime you hear a song with a good beat you bounce dance. it is adorable and funny to see you picking up on the sounds around you, showing a preference for music.
you're steering your walk-behind toy all around the house now, shifting it when you get stuck and carrying on your way. i am so pleased to see you cruising around the house.
you've cut back SIGNIFICANTLY on your formula, down usually to just 2 sippy cups per day. hard to imagine earlier this year that we were washing and labeling six to eight per day! it's a good thing, b/c in your new class you'll be on milk as soon as you turn 1. i am counting down the DAYS till we don't have to buy formula anymore. :)
you love having a story every night. you sit patiently on mine or daddy's lap and listen and look at the photos. it is the favorite part of my day! the cutest thing is that you sleep on your tummy with your hiney up in the air, and you're sure to grab your blanky and tuck in your hands under your tummy. the same thing every night, just like your dad, on your bellies.
after this restful weekend, we have a couple CRAZY weekends coming up-- can't wait to see what they hold!
i love you!
