some photos from this weekend.

this weekend, we got adam this cool new seat, called a metoo seat. and you can see why-- he can sit right up at the table with mommy and daddy. now that he's truly eating what and when we eat, we have been trying to have family dinner as often as possible. in case you've never been in our house, our dining room is SMALL. therefore, lugging the highchair from the kitchen into the dining room so adam could join us was a challenge. not to mention, he was "over there" in the high chair while we were "over here" eating. with this seat, he can join us at the table. this weekend, he ate with us right at the table and even ate off his own plate, as pleasant as you please. even better, this seat flattens completely for easy travel and is machine washable. obviously, babies can't use this till they can sit up well on their own.... so seems highchair may be packed away until baby #2 comes along someday. (worried about the glass? me too!, at first... but don't worry, the chair is hooked onto the metal around the edge of our table.)

here's just one blackberry shot eric was able to get of adam swinging at the park this weekend. he LOVES swinging! lucky for all of us, we found a park just a block away from our house with baby swings. tonight, after dinner, eric, adam, otis and i strolled over to the swings and played for a bit before heading home for adam's bed time. he seemed to enjoy this after-dinner activity and hopefully we can keep it up all during this great summer we've been having!
